The First Sunday in Advent is also our Stewardship Ingathering. Following worship, the Vestry is hosting a celebratory brunch as an expression of gratitude to the congregation for their support. The season of Advent is a time of preparation and expectation for the coming celebration of our Lord’s nativity.
In-person and online
Holy Eucharist (also known as Holy Communion) is at the center of our life together and is celebrated every Sunday. We worship in the Episcopalian Tradition, reaching out to welcome, nurture, and serve. You can now stream our services on our Facebook page.
The Collect:
Almighty God, give us grace to cast away the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light, now in the time of this mortal life in which your Son Jesus Christ came to visit us in great humility; that in the last day, when he shall come again in his glorious majesty to judge both the living and the dead, we may rise to the life immortal; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Revised Common Lectionary: Isaiah 2:1-5; Psalm 122; Romans 13:11-14; Matthew 24:36-44
