Every Tuesday at 10 AM, we read the upcoming Sunday lectionary. Using the Bible Study from The Episcopal Church (https://www.episcopalchurch.org/bible-study/year-c/), the group engages in hearing how scripture is informing our lives in our context. Drop in whenever you have time and bring your questions. The results are amazing as we spend more time in scripture to understand how God is working in our lives.

The Chosen is the first ever multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus. The Chosen allows us to see Jesus through the eyes of those who knew him.
We will begin by sharing a simple meal together and then watch one episode and have a discussion. Each episode is about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Season 5 has 8 episodes. Animal Blessing is Sunday, October 5, during the 10 AM service. Please bring your pets on a leash or in carriers for the safety and comfort of all gathered. Photos of pets who have passed or who just don't like to travel, or beloved stuffed animals are welcome. Invite your friends with pets to join us!

The Collect: Almighty and everlasting God, whose will it is to restore all things in your well-beloved Son, the King of kings and Lord of lords: Mercifully grant that the peoples of the earth, divided and enslaved by sin, may be freed and brought together under his most gracious rule; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
St. Andrews and Good Shepherd’s Choirs will share with us a cantata they have been working on for a while. there will be no services at St. Andrews on Dec. 15 as we will all be joining the congregation at Good Shepherd (409 4th Ave. E.) for worship.
